British born Amy has been playing the violin since the age of seven and has become of the country’s leading musicians ever since. She travels far and wide to perform her stirring and emotional shows at all sorts of events, from weddings and corporate functions to charity events, award ceremonies, gala dinners, proposals, engagement parties and more besides. Although she has achieved a high standard in classical violin, she has always maintained an interest in other musical styles, emerging as a highly accomplished and versatile performer. She has developed a unique fusion of styles which include pop, ballads, musical and film themes, jazz, club, show-pieces, Bollywood, Latin, gypsy and Jewish music, which allows her to cater for a wide variety of clientèle and musical tastes.
Growing up in a musical family to a pianist father, Amy was surrounded by classical music from an early age and went on to train at two of the UK’s leading musical institutions – St Mary’s Music School in Edinburgh and The Royal Northern College of Music. It was here that she was awarded scholarships and gained distinction in her Masters in solo performance degree in 2012. As such, she is not only hugely qualified and vastly talented, but she is also experienced and well travelled, meaning she is a natural performer up on stage who adds real value to any event.
She usually takes a break after 45 minutes of playing.
She performs on either classical or electric violin, or both.
She has a large range of music styles to choose from to suit your event.
