The CrossRoads Project

About The CrossRoads Project

The CrossRoad Project are a Dutch A capella group made up of five devoted vocalists. With a shared passion for harmonies and tight rhythms the group cover a wide range of modern and classic songs, sometimes switching between modern Jazz harmonies, Hip Hop style beats, tight vocal percussion and spellbinding solos.

The group have become critically acclaimed, winning the award for best Jazz Arrangement at Vokal Total Festival in Graz. They went onto perform in South Korea, Germany and tour with the Dutch symphonic orchestra, gradually building up their global appeal. In May 2015 they won the most prestigious international vocal competition in Denmark and they are set to release their debut album in autumn.

  • They can sing various set lengths, with or without break. Pop and jazz,
  • Normal set lengths are 30, 45, 60 and 75 minutes.

We sing without any accompaniment of other instruments. Using vocal harmonies, we translate our favourite songs into new arrangements. One has to be a bit of a vocal nerd to make music this way, and that's what binds us

“A tight knit group of a cappella singers creating a unique sound blending jazz, pop and exciting original music. These five artists dedicate themselves to writing, arranging, and performing their music with authenticity and fulfillment. Keep your eyes and ears open for The CrossRoads Project! You won’t want to miss them!”

Kim Nazarian - New York Voices

“Jazzy, complex arrangements sung with ease. Great soloists, voice blend, rhythm & jazz feel. Actually one of the best vocal jazz groups I’ve heard.”

Peder Karlsson - Ex-member of The Real Group
