A Good Old Fashioned Knees Up

About A Good Old Fashioned Knees Up

A Good Old Fashioned Knees Up started from drunken sing-a-longs in a bar at a vintage music festival. The creator and main performer of A Good Old Fashioned Knees Up has worked extensively across the UK as a keyboard player and music director. He has both performed with and appeared as musical director for a variety of well loved West End shows such as Les Miserables, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and many more.

A Good Old Fashioned Knees Up performs regularly at some high profile venues around London and the rest of the UK, some of these include; Cafe de Paris, The Pheasantry and Wilton’s Music Hall. He also performs at private parties and vintage events up and down the country.

  • He usually provide 2 x 45 minute sets, but can be flexible with timings, up to a maximum of 2 hours material.
  • For walk-about entertainment he can provide a rotating programme of 3 x 30 minute sets.

I create a great vintage party atmosphere as I leads the crowd, from the ol’ johanna, in a good old fashioned Cockney-style knees-up. I love performing these timeless songs, keeping them alive in the only way you can: by singing them and sharing them with others.

“You won’t find fun like it anywhere else.”

Jane Rayner

“Great idea, well executed. A definite “must see” act.”

Mabel Stevens

“It was a utter delight to witness the whole pub signing it’s heart out. What a night it was!”
